How long does replacing a roof typically take?
About a week for the average home (2500 sq. ft) - that timeline involves removing your old roofing material (shingles, etc.) and any rotten or damaged wood, replacing that wood, installing sheeting, laying new roof material, and any necessary inspections. This timeline can be affected by weather, unexpected damage, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will keep you involved with the timeline and do our best to complete the job as quickly as we can while keeping the quality we're known for.

Do we have to be out of the house when you are replacing the roof?
You don't have to leave! Keep in mind, replacing a roof is noisy - if you're needing quiet, you might need to step out for a moment.

Why is there discoloring in my roof?
Discoloration can have many causes, but it typically indicates it's time for a replacement. Give us a call and we'll come check it out!

What kind of ventilation can I use on my roof?
We use O'Hagin dormers (low-profile vents) instead of old fashioned turbines. When replacing or installing a roof, it's important to know how many dormers are needed to ensure proper ventilation. Typically, 4-5 dormers are required on a 2500 sq. ft. home and 1-2 dormers on a one car garage.
